DDC PUBLISHING
One Book, Total Focus, Print Ready
Look, you’ve already done the hardest part: you wrote the book.
You don’t need an expensive agency trying to upsell you on editing packages or marketing gimmicks.
You just need someone to get it over the finish line.
That’s where I come in. I take on exactly one author at a time, giving your print-ready, finalized manuscript my undivided attention. Whether it's on a Microsoft Word document, Google Doc, or written on a thousand clever napkins.
I’ll help design a unique, custom cover if you need one, handle all the frustrating technical setup for IngramSpark, and make sure your book is ready for global distribution.
No fluff, no games — just me helping you get your book into print.
One book at a time
Here's what happened when I tried to go with a "professional book publisher," and why I'm doing this.
July 1st, 2026. 11:17 p.m.
I've done many things in life, such as opening up a sports newspaper down in Charlotte, NC and a window washing company in Cincinnati, OH. Every time I've ever done something as such, I've always winged it and done it myself, and most of the time it would result in a subpar product, but a fun one, nonetheless. When I wrote my book, I said to myself, "Alright, I'm going to do this the right way." I found a local guy who's published many books in the past. I wanted this thing to look as professional as every other top seller out there. Huge mistake.
The guy turned out to be an incredible ignoramus. Missed deadlines, unprofessionalism, a shitty product, and a ridiculous last-minute contract. After about 7 months worth of wasted time, I was left with having to do the thing myself. Having zero experience in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, creating a book cover, and transforming a book into "book form," I tested my hand at it. I'm so glad I did, because this product is 20x better than what the "professional" accomplished. What took him and his team over 7 months and 330 pages, I did it in 55 hours and reduced the book down to 276 pages. My version has MUCH better aesthetics, more pictures, and more stories on top of it. I almost spent the rest of my life selling my book without realizing there was a MUCH better one waiting to be released in my back pocket.
The last thing I expected to come out of writing a book was to open a book publishing company, but hey: life is weird. Sometimes you just gotta ride the roller-coaster and enjoy the turns.
My sister and I started a small darts community years back, and we called it, DDC. She's coming along for the ride through this publishing journey, so what better of a name than DDC Publishing.
I wouldn't trust any other 2 people in this world to run a business of my own, and I have full confidence that you will be extremely happy working with us while we not only help you put your book into people's hands, but make a truly unique one by dedicating all of our time and attention toward your project and yours only.
We will never take more than one project at a time. The other guys like to take on every project they can get their hands on, leaving your book on the backburner if you're someone like me; not famous, not wealthy, and a first-time author. The other guys won't put a 10th of the passion, care, and attention to detail as we will in your book. It's an easy promise to make.
DDC Publishing is running on passion, pride, and the thought of leaving great things behind before we're buried 6 feet under. If we were in this for the money, we'd never take just "one project at a time."
Our ancestors went through hell to get you and I where we are today, and it would be a sin not to take advantage of it. Whatever your ambitions are in life, you HAVE to pull the trigger on them, no matter what. Especially with what's going on in the world as we speak.
If you've written a book and you're proud of it, don't be like the vast majority of humans out there and not get it published. Too many people in this world want to write a book, but never do. Do your ancestors proud. Write your book. I can help you cross the finish line. No fluff, no bullshit, no dumbass contracts.
